Creating A Top Notch Athletic Field With Quality Bleachers
The snap of a bat, the roar of the crowd, the zoom of the soccer ball, the "swish" of the basketball...these are all sounds that will bring a smile to any sports fan's face (whether it's little league, high school, college or professional).
Imagine, however, that you listen to these sounds while standing up (or worse yet, sitting on the itchy grass!). No matter which sport you enjoy most, no game takes less than an hour - and no one wants to stand, or sit on grass, for an hour or more!
Having quality bleacher is essential to creating a top notch athletic field, and ensuring more people attend your games (with their pockets full of entrance fee and snack money!). The decision of which bleachers to buy doesn't need to be intimidating.
Bleachers used to be made of wooden boards which once upon a time which, being left exposed and open to the elements were lightened by the sun - hence the name, which has been in use since the early 1900's.
For true team spirit, most contemporary bleachers are now created from aluminum or steel, and a lot can be commissioned with colored seating. There are diverse sorts to choose from, depending on your needs. Aluminum Tip n' Roll bleachers are ideal for temporary seating (especially for indoor seating, or small spaces), as they are easily tipped onto their swivel casters for movement, allowing them to be stored quickly and simply. Rubber foot pads are also included, ensuring floors are protected from scratching.
Non-elevated bleachers sit lower from the ground for added safety, and are smaller in size, making them perfect for smaller athletic fields. Available with 3, 4 or 5 rows, these bleachers are still large enough to seat up to 80 sports fans! With the addition of the transport kit, portable non-elevated models are also a good option, these 5 or 10 row bleachers can be moved without difficulty across grass, and can accommodate up to 160 persons.
For football or soccer fields, where larger seating is needed, elevated bleacher are the ideal solution. These seating systems include guardrails, aisles with handrails, entry stairs, and aluminum seat, foot and riser planks, as well as several elevation heights. They are designed to contain up to 500 people (or more!depending on your needs.
To suit seating specifications and site limitations, it is always possible to custom design and assemble varied sizes and arrangements. It is important to check local requirements sor such things as aisles, guardrails, ADA, or other conditions when ordering beachers. Building codes vary by year written and by issuing group, so check local building codes before purchasing any bleachers.
