Men's Fashion : Tips For Looking Good

It’s not just women who want to look good – we know that men do too, and so we’ve checked out the hottest catwalk trends for 2011. There’s something of a synergy between men’s and women’s fashion this year with one of the hottest male trends being floral patterns. These are seen in the shape of loud beach shorts to some great flowery shirts and more gentle paisley offerings. Perhaps the designers have decided to embrace the idea of the metrosexual.

Another hot item on the catwalks was the ever-popular blazer. These are fantastic as they’re attractive, well-tailored and the superb lines means that they’ll look great on any man. The catwalks favored block colors such as green, blue, grey and light mauve, suggesting that 2011 fashion isn’t all about feminine patterns. You could wear your blazer to social occasions or to more formal events, making it a brilliantly versatile item that’s also brilliantly fashionable, stylish and wearable by any man, no matter what your style.

Blazers weren’t the only jacket style on the 2011 catwalks; leather jackets were seen dotted around, too. The bomber style seemed to be particularly popular, affecting a great sporty look that works well on any man. Leather bomber jackets are a great way of keeping out the chill, particularly at more casual occasions such as sporting events and they come with loads of pockets, making them practical as well as fashionable. Wear it unzipped over a shirt for a laidback, ultra-hip look.

Tees, of course, also played a big part of they top trends on the men’s 2011 catwalks. The big surprise, though, was the popularity of crop tops. More common on the women’s catwalks, they’re now infiltrating men’s fashion as well. In block colors such as black and white, they’re great at showing off your fantastic set of abs and they’re not even that short – they’re shorter than normal tees but nothing scary. They’re also quite loose, making them more flattering.

Staying on the theme of unexpected fashion trends for men in 2011, lace and other sheer clothes were also popular on the catwalks. Hear us out – they might sound a bit feminine, but they look great on men, too. They’re especially good for layering over other things, making them really versatile. An especially popular item was the sheer shirt, which could be great for showing off your tan on the beach during summer vacation, so this is one trend that could be worth investigating.

110 flex over kill for a wrist shot?

I have an easton synergy 100 flex right now. Its seen better days, and im looking for a new stick (probably the s17) and im considering a 110 flex.
I have people telling me that is over kill for a wrist shot, and i rarely take slap shots, outside of practice (not consistent enough).
Right now my synergy is a 100 flex, and im not sure how much of the flex is because its whipped out, or because im putting more load on the shots.

Other information:
Im 225lbs, play D. Play in a mens league. Have one of the harder wrist shots in the tier i play in.
yeah my backup was a 85, every time i go to load up the stick bends WAY to much and ends up sliding out of position.

If you are 225 lbs and play defence I am not surprised your 85 flex stick bends too much!

I would definitely go with the 110 flex stick, It may seem a little too stiff at first, but after you get used to the stick, you will be reeking the benefits in the long run.

For one with a stiffer stick you will get much more use out of it before you need to replace it.

Also you can get much more power in your shot with a stiffer stick, just as long as you're strong enough to use it, and seeing as you're tipping the scales at 225 I assume you are.
