Sexual Enhancement Drugs And FDA Compliance
There has been a warning released by the US Food and Drug Administration over concerns about a sexual enhancement drug sold on the internet. The FDA released a list of sexual performance enhancements that were found to be a risk to human health back in 2004. They were not in line with FDA Compliance and were breaking federal law because they withheld ingredient information.
A few of the many drugs that were found to be breaking the law include Lycium Barbarum L., Adam Free, Rhino V Max, V.Max, True Man, Energy Max, HS Joy of Love, NaturalUp, Blue Steel and Erextra.
These and the rest of the list are available to view on the FDA’s website. They are promoted as a pill to enhance sexual performance or treat erectile dysfunction. However if you are taking another prescription drug or use some herbal remedies you may be at serious health risks.
on the internet and in some retail outlets you can buy a product call Stiff Nights which the FDA has recently warned consumers against. It is sold as a dietary supplement although there are ingredients in the pills that consumers are not told about. This is in breach of FDA Compliance under their regulations governing drug marketing. Withholding ingredient information can put consumers at serious health risk because the active ingredients in many sexual enhancement drugs can react with prescription medicines.
Men with conditions including heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes which are treated with prescription drugs are those most likely to be affected if they take sexual enhancement drugs and their prescription meds at the same time. This is because the active ingredient in stiff nights is sulfoaildenafil, the same chemical that is in the legal drug Viagra. When this comes into contact with some nitrate drugs, a person’s blood pressure can dramatically fall to dangerous levels. Men who suffer from the above conditions are often on prescription medicine which includes nitrates, and erectile dysfunction can be a side-effect.
Men take these illegal drugs not knowing they are banned or contain dangerous ingredients because they are advertised on the internet as ‘all-natural’. The FDA was warned about Stiff Nights following a customer complaint although the nature of the complaint remains undisclosed. The FDA decided to release a consumer warning after it had conducted an investigation.
Niece age 2 had a seizure (entire body stiff, blue).M&D did CPR. MRI,CAT,EEG,EKG show nothing. what to do?
Mom and Dad are frantic. We live outside the US and are have recieved excellent care so far but are leery because no diagnosis has been made. The only test that was abnormal was lung capacity, and the MD said it could be a result of the seizure. Thanks for your help!
Take her to a neurologist to be checked out for epilepsy or some other problem...I think sometimes high fevers can cause seizures in kids...did they check for heart problems? if there is any problem with heart circulation, that could affect the brain possibly...
The person who suggested lead testing has a good idea, too. See if she could have eaten something she shouldn't have...my brother climbed up on a chair to get into some powdered draino when he was about 2...had to have stomach pumped out, but he was okay..LOCK UP ALL POISONS , ASPIRINS, PILLS (look like candy to kids), etc...
You could go to an allergist if you suspect allergy (ie if it runs in the family?)...or it might not run in family and she still could have allergy...
A Tie in New Hampshire (corner.nationalreview)
Voting starts in Hart's Location and Dixville Notch in just over an hour, so
most of these New Hampshire primary notes will be too late to have any impact.
Nevertheless:
1) I had the pleasure of meeting the hottie Huntsman gals the other night and
I hear good things from my neighbors about turnout and reaction to the
Governor lui-meme at the Horse Meadow Senior Center in Haverhill over the
weekend. The standard line on his TV debate appearances is that he's
"condescending". He's less so on the stump. Not sure why, but I notice that,
when he's in diners and Elks' Lodges, he's usually open-necked, and with a
dark blue shirt that makes his neck and chin come over less Foggy Bottomesque.
He appears relaxed and real, and (by the standards of this presidential field)
kinda cool. Yet, when he climbs into the white shirt and tie for the telly
stuff, he looks like a snotty Foreign Service stiff who's having a pineapple
twisted up his bottom. This is the precise inversion of most candidates: a
tieless Newt comes across shifty, a tieless Mitt as if he took his tie off
because a consultant ...
