Major Websites For Anime Reviews
Anime series can be hard to keep track of since there are so many, with new titles emerging every year. However, websites doing anime reviews provide a great service to fans of this genre. They keep people aware of the latest anime from the major companies, but also review plots, discuss voice actors, analyze anime characters, and provide general information about the industry. Some are extensive, while others cover specific sub-genres. And while some are professional sites with major sponsors, others are created just for the enjoyment by anime fans themselves.
T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews (http://www.themanime.org/) is a prime destination for those who want to learn about individual series. Originally, under the patronage of T.H.E.M., the science fiction and fantasy social group at Arizona State University, this site now operates on its own, relying on donations and operated by many volunteers. The website does reviews of anime series, but as many of these sites do, it also has regular contributors who cover anime conventions and other events associated with the industry.
However, the main site for everything anime, including reviews, is the Anime News Network, or ANN (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/). The site began, as its name suggests, as a place for publishing news about both the anime and manga industries, which are closely related, as well as new series in both fields. But the network soon expanded, adding reviews of anime series, blogs by staff members and a discussion forum. One of the largest and most useful features of ANN is what it calls its "encyclopedia," which is a huge database of information about anime series, voice actors, directors and creators. The most recent addition is a portal for streaming anime. This news network is the first place to go for information about anime.
Whether someone is looking for anime reviews of particular series, or wants an overview of the industry in general, they will never lack websites to delve into. Some sites created by individuals may fade away after a while, as the person gets too busy or the work becomes too much of a chore, but these usually serve at least as an anime information archive for older series. It's certain, though, that with the continuing popularity of anime, there will always be plenty of information sites out there.

HD 4870: Stock or aftermarket cooler?
I have just put together a new computer (the only thing I'm still waiting for is the CPU, which should be getting to me on Friday) and was wondering if I should purchase an aftermarket cooler for my videocard (as it has consistantly been review to exceed temperatures of 80 degrees Celcius) or if my case will take care of it (as I can always set every fan to maximum revolutions). Here are the specs:
-Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme 6850
-1333mhz DDR3 RAM
-Intel X38 Extreme Motherboard
-500GB and 160GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive w/ Hard Drive Cooler
-Saphire HD 4870 512MB DDR5 Graphics Card
-Antec Nine Hundred Series Case (6 fans - 2 are exhaust - all set at medium)
-OCZ 1010W Power Supply
One of the exhaust fans is 200mm, while the rest are 120mm, with an additional 120mm fan on the ocz power supply.
I'm rather envious of your entire setup.
In any case, the HD4870 should run fairly cool due to the fact that it uses a dual slot cooler. The heating issues only occur with the HD4850, which are using single slot coolers.
As always, it is important to have adequate chassis cooling, so I'm confident that not only your GPU will run at normal temperatures, but so will the rest of your components.
Kurt Sutter Hopes To Keep ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Going For At Least 7 Seasons (Deadline Hollywood)
Kurt Sutter, the colorful and occasionally churlish creator of the FX biker
smash _Sons of Anarchy _that wrapped its fourth and most successful campaign
last night, is optimistic that his show will see a seventh season. Or more.
_SOA _already has been renewed for a fifth season of 13 episodes. He said
during a conference call with reporters this morning, "We're hoping to be able
to tell the story we want to tell in a seven-season arc, to have the length of
time to do that. At least we're open to exploring that." But he added that his
experience as a writer-exec producer on _The Shield _tells him that "the above
the line costs can become too much" when trying to go beyond season seven. The
reason Sutter is even able to consider three seasons into the future is the
fact _SOA _just enjoyed its highest-rated season, standing as the No. 1
scripted drama on basic cable and the highest-rated series ever on FX. He
credits the show's increasing viewership in part to its availability over
Netflix. "It helped people really plug into and get into the show the first
few seasons," Sutter believes. "It's ...
